Q: I’ve forgotten my login name and/or password

Students:

A: To reset your password, click on the ‘Forgotten your password?’

You will be taken to a screen where you enter your email address. Make sure you type in the same email address that you would use to access the course and then click ‘Submit’.

You will then be sent instructions on how to change your password.

Get Ready for English Students:

A: To reset your password, click on the ‘Forgotten your password?’

You will be taken to a screen where you enter your user name (first name.last name) Make sure you type in the same email address that you would use to access the course and then click ‘Submit’. You will then be sent instructions on how to change your password.

Q: I can’t access the course / I have a technical problem.

A: Please email your teacher with your name, surname, email address, group, details of a course you are enrolled on and a task you are having issues with as well as the description of the issue you are experiencing.

Q: Can I access courses via a mobile device?

A: The MyINTO platform is developed mobile first. Our course activities are mobile friendly; however, some learning lends itself better to bigger screens for example, writing essays.

Q: I can’t see the course on my dashboard.

A: Inform your teacher and they will check with the IT team if you are enrolled correctly and if your profile information is correct.

Q: Who can see my results?

A: Only you and your module teacher can view your activity results.

Q: Where can I find my activity completion and average grade information?

A: Please navigate to ‘My module grades’ on your main dashboard.

Q: Where can I find activities for this week?

A: The tasks you need to complete will be made available to you on the dashboard and/or your module homepage.

Q: Where can I find my teachers’ details on the platform?

A: In the top, red header, in ‘My groups’ section, there will be all your teachers’ details, for all groups you are enrolled on.

Q: Where can I check my personal details?

A: In the right top corner, in the Welcome section, there is your name. If you click on it, you will be taken to your profile where you can see your student id, name, surname, email address and courses you are enrolled on.

 

BongoLearn Live Lesson FAQs

Q: I can’t speak during the virtual lesson.

A: If you don’t see the microphone symbol nobody can hear you because you joined in ‘Listen only’ mode. Click on ‘Join audio’ (phone receiver symbol) to ensure you can talk during the session.

Q: What is the Echo test used for?

A: The echo test will ensure that your microphone and speakers are working within our system. Only click the thumbs up icon if you can hear yourself, and if you do not hear yourself, click the thumbs down icon.

Q: I don’t know how to mute myself during virtual lesson.

A: You can mute and unmute yourself by clicking on the microphone icon at the bottom of the presentation screen.

Q: How do I make annotations on the teacher’s presentation/screen?

A: After a teacher grants you permissions to make annotations, you will be able to add content to the presentation. To bring up your Tool options, click on the Tool menu on the right side of the screen and choose in between options there. You can choose from a pointer, drawing tool or T for text.

Q: How can I delete the annotation I made on the screen?

A: Only the teacher can clear your and other students’ annotations.

Q: I have issues hearing the teacher and other students and/or viewing the screen.

A: To avoid this issue, before our lesson check that your connection speed is at least 2-3Mbps using this website's service https://www.speedtest.net/. Close out of other tabs, windows, and applications.

Q: I can hear background noise/echoing sound when I am in the live lesson.

A: If you hear feedback after joining audio, try reducing the volume on your device.

Q: I can’t see the live lesson activity on my course.

A: Please check with your teacher if everything is correct with your group enrolment.

Q: Can I leave a breakout room?

A: No, you should stay in your breakout room with other students for the time the teacher asked you to and work on the task assigned to you until the time for your task is up

Q: How do I leave the lesson?

A: By clicking on ‘Leave audio’, (red phone receiver icon), you will no longer be able to hear or see the meeting
